Take a Hint“I don’t understand,” Kathy confides in Jennifer, “I like Cody so I smile and laugh at his bad jokes. I want to seem interested but not too interested. He just can’t take a hint!”

“Guys are usually slow,” Jennifer says knowingly. “What about that other guy?”

“Josh?” Kathy almost gags. “He won’t back off. I don’t want to be mean, so I smile and laugh at his bad jokes. For some reason he hangs around me even more. He just can’t take a hint!”

“Guys.” Jennifer rolls her eyes. “Why don’t they understand?”

    Women move in mysterious ways, but unlike men, they always know precisely what they’re talking about when it comes to relationships. I should know, they keep saying it on TV.
