Seafood Night

Seafood Night“What’s this?” Meredith eyes the bowl suspiciously.

“It’s dinner,” Matthew says, “Seafood night.”

“This is ramen noodles.”

Shrimp flavored ramen noodles,” Matthew corrects. “All you can eat . . . as long as you keep it under two packets.”

“What?”

“Two packets. We only have so much for the rest of the week.”

WHAT?!” Meredith jumps out of her seat.

“Don’t worry,” says Matthew, “It’s just that quarterly taxes were due, and . . . who really wants more than ramen anyway, right? We got all sorts of flavors for variety.”

Meredith sighs, “What’s there to drink?”

“A brand imported straight from our kitchen sink: Tappé.”
