Original thought posed in an interesting way. It catches your attention and you read further along. Witty yet accessible, are thoughts placed subliminally in your skull.
The novelty wears off sooner than it should. You find yourself drifting, wishing for something a little more familiar, a little more comfortable. This is the problem with something new. It never quite latches on to its potential, and the tried and true remain fixed in the mainstream consciousness.
It has long since moved from tiring to down right annoying. How could anyone have thought this would be any good? The author should be shot.
